Jan Burger grew up in Boston and now lives in North Carolina by the banks of the Haw river. He is a puppeteer co-founder of Paperhand Puppet Intervention,  A cartoonist and graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies, in Vermont, and a game designer with his brother at Burger Brothers Games. 

He is an activist, a nature enthusiast, and a papa.
